John Hollowood

John had just eleven months after being diagnosed with cancer

and in characteristic fashion lived life to the full in the time that was left to him. Many will remember him for his humour and wit. Many will remember him for the enthusiasm and commitment that he bought to the task in hand. Others will remember him as a family man or as a man who made a hobby out of hobbies.

He played his part modestly but purposefully for the benefit of others, whether that was privately as a friend, as a town councillor as a trustee of organisations that serve the wider military community.
