SUNDAY, 10 SEPTEMBER 2017 - GODMANCHESTER STIRLING, 'FLOWER FOR AN AIRMAN'
A 'Flower for an Airman' event will be held between 1300-1600 at the Memorial on Cow Lane. There will be a total of 14 vases, one each for the crew of the Godmanchester Stirling, 4 for the crew of the Avro Anson and 2 for the Mosquito. Please feel free to come along with flowers and place them in each vase as a sign of remembrance. You will also be able to find out about the story behind the stone, and see a model of the actual aircraft.
